Scenic Madagascar

This is a view of Antananarivo from the highest point in the city, near the Rova and the Queen's Palace. It is looking south to the heart-shaped Angel's Pond.
This is the historic Queen's Palace, being re-built after it was distroyed by fire in 1995. The outgoing President was a sore looser and tourched the beautiful structure just before leaving the country in exile. That's politics in Madagascar.

This is a view at the Rova looking North. Our Apartment building can be seen in the very center of the picture. It is a tall yellow building.
