Country Public School

This is a school we visited in the countryside several miles outside of Tana. The school had been devistated over a year ago by a cyclone. The floors are of dirt, the roof leaks so bad they let school out when it rains. The kids are so crowded they can hardly wiggle in their seats. You have to love them and cry for them.

Hi Uncle Bob and Aunt Susan....errr Elder and Sister Bird, I love looking at the pictures of your mission. It takes me back to the time that I spent in Somalia. What an interesting and life changing experience that must be for you. I am very interested in seeing and hearing more about your mission and the work that you do. I am also interested to know if there is anything that you think potential eagle scouts (my boys) might do for projects that would help in your mission.
Love you, Brenda
